This role will provide you with the opportunity to utilise your skills in the area of community aged care and program coordination to provide person-centred support and inclusive services for older residents and carers, including program development, assessments, referrals, and volunteer management.

What You’ll Be Working On
You will oversee the full range of Care Program Services at the Seniors’ Centre in Mosman including facilitating a variety of services in the Mosman Community. These include Mosman meals, Mosman Community Transport, centre-based activities, a range or care programs as well as aged-care coordination.
This position is responsible for ensuring the provision of safe, reliable and accessible Care Programs that are responsive to the needs of the Mosman community, in particular, to older people who are socially isolated.
You will have the opportunity to manage staff and volunteers, undertaking assessments of client's care needs, providing information, support and referrals and ensuring the Care Programs section functions optimally at all times.
What You’ll Bring to the Role
With Tertiary qualifications in Community/Social Work Studies, or other relevant qualifications, you will be committed to delivering outstanding customer service.
You will bring comprehensive knowledge and experience working with older people and carers, and will be committed to providing accurate assessment, information, referral and support services for older people and carers.
You will also have demonstrated experience in management and strengths-based leadership of staff and delivering quality programs.
In addition to the above, you will hold a current First Aid Certificate and a current NSW Driver’s Licence.
This position is subject to a National Police Check undertaken by Council.
