What You’ll Be Working On  

In this role, you’ll lead a small team, manage day-to-day centre operations, and deliver high-quality programs and partnerships. You will build strong, genuine relationships with Community Centre users: particularly seniors, people with disability and their carers; ensuring their needs and lived experiences inform the planning, delivery and evaluation of services.

You will also contribute to strategic planning, support continuous improvement, and lead Council projects and key community events throughout the year.

 

What You’ll Bring to the Role 

Mosman Council is seeking an experienced, person-centred leader to oversee the operations of the Mosman Community Centre and develop programs that support wellbeing, inclusion and social connection. With a commitment to inclusive, person-centred practice.

To be successful in this role you will have Tertiary Qualifications in Community Development or Human Services (Social Work, Psychology, Community Services).

With a minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role, with demonstrated experience in managing the day-to-day operations of community Centre or similar facility.

You will hold strong relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills, with knowledge of CHSP, NDIS and community care funding environments.

The position is identified as a Child-Related position under the Commission of Children and Young People Act 1998 and the successful candidate is required to hold a valid Working With Children Check.

This position is subject to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check undertaken by Council.
