What You’ll Be Working On
You'll manage a small team of Information Officers, oversee the management of electronic and hard copy records, and development of procedures that promote appropriate use of Council’s Corporate Information Management system.
You will coordinate the efficient collection, storage, retrieval, distribution, sharing, and analysis of corporate information and knowledge.
Your expertise will also ensure compliance with legislation and Council policies through regular audits of our practices.
What You’ll Bring to the Role
With tertiary qualifications in information / records management or similar, you will have a complete understanding of and practical use of electronic document and information management systems, relevant legislation including records disposal schedules and archival requirements.
You will bring demonstrated experience in a senior information management position with highly developed people skills and an ability to lead and motivate a team.
Your commitment to workplace changes, continuous improvement strategies and provision of exceptional customer service will contribute to your success in the role.
This position is subject to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check undertaken by Council.
