What You’ll Be Working On 

  • This is an ideal opportunity for innovative, budding leader who is seeking exposure to overseeing and organising reliable and appropriate individual and group social support services.
  • You will undertake the full range of support activities encompassing; promoting Mosman Council’s care programs, assist with events and functions as well as organise and coordinate community aged care information sessions.
  • You will deliver key projects which directly support designing, implementing and evaluating programs which meet the needs of the community group.  
  • You will have the opportunity to lead a small team of care program officers to support and nurture the needs of the Mosman Community

 

What You’ll Bring to the Role

  • With tertiary qualifications in community/social work studies or other relevant qualifications. You will be committed to keeping your knowledge current and up to date.
  • You will bring demonstrated experience from a similar role or industry including aged care, disability or community services
  • Knowledge and experience in community/social work will be highly regarded.

 

In addition to the above, you will also hold

  • First Aid Certificate
  • Current C class drivers' licence

 

This position is subject to a national police check undertaken by council.
