What You’ll Be Working On  

This opportunity is based in our Property and Works team. In this role, you carry out infrastructure works or facilitate timely ‘make safe’, maintenance and permanent repairs of Councils assets using safe work practices including manual handling and use of machinery.

You will plan and complete various property works and other infrastructure works in a safe, efficient, and effective manner in accordance with statutory requirements.

What You’ll Bring to the Role 

To be successful In this role you will hold appropriate trade qualifications and extensive experience in a field required by Council for the maintenance of its assets.

You will have demonstrated experience in a team environment which has delivered successful works, projects and results. In addition to this you have experience in safe work practices and effectively working alone when required, identifying situations where assistance is appropriate.

In addition to the above you will also hold a Current LR driver licence (or higher), general Construction Induction (White) Card and Implement Traffic Control Plans (formerly yellow card) or willingness to obtain, and a current First Aid Certificate.
