This role will provide you with the opportunity to utilise your skills in the area of Rapid Response to assist the Team Leader Works in leading a small team whose primary objective is to provide service to the Mosman Community.

What You’ll Be Working On  

 

This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity, your day to day will involve carrying out new infrastructure works or facilitate ‘make safe’, maintenance and permanent repairs of Council assets using safe work practices including manual handling and use of machinery.  

 

You will have the opportunity to plan and complete various open space and other infrastructure works in a safe, efficient, and effective manner in accordance with statutory requirements.  

 

 

What You’ll Bring to the Role 

 

To be successful in this role you will hold appropriate trade qualifications and extensive experience in a field required by Council for the maintenance of its assets.  

 

You will have demonstrated knowledge and experience leading in a team environment which has delivered successful works, projects and results, including the ability to influence team members and set and display appropriate standards of work and attitudes to work. 

 

You will hold a current Class C driver’s licence, White card. In addition, you’ll hold or be willing to obtain Traffic Controller (Blue Card) and a first aid certificate.
