- Parental Leave Contract until October 2027, full-time hours with a Rostered Day Off approximately every 3 weeks
- Total package from $73,113 to $94,468 pa inclusive of 12%super

This role will provide you with the opportunity to provide high-quality acquisitions of Library resources, including ordering and accessioning, and provide exceptional services to Library customers.

What You’ll Be Working On
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is seeking a rewarding role in a community-focused library environment, where they can contribute to collection development, resource management, and the delivery of exceptional customer service.
You will undertake the full range of library services activities encompassing resource acquisition and accessioning, supplier liaison, invoice and expenditure administration, cataloguing donations, and providing reference, lending, information and reader advisory services to customers.
You will deliver key projects which directly support the accessibility, organisation and ongoing maintenance of the Library collection through shelving, shelf checking, returns processing, and collaborative support across the broader Library Services Team.
What You’ll Bring to the Role
To be successful in this role you will bring tertiary qualifications in Library and Information Science, experience using library management systems, and a strong customer service focus.
You will have well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to provide reference and information services, work collaboratively in a team environment, and manage competing priorities effectively. Strong organisational skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office and library technologies, and a commitment to continuous improvement and delivering high-quality service are essential.
In addition to the above, you will also hold Working With Children Clearance. The position is identified as a Child-Related position under the Commission of Children and Young People Act 1998 and the successful candidate is required to hold a valid Working With Children Check.
